a.k.a. i told myself i was going to make a side-journal for Mabinogi but ended up not doing that (yet) but i still want to talk about it so here we are

Mabinogi (formerly known as Mabinogi: Fantasy Life) is a KMMORPG published by Nexon and developed by devCAT studios! It's loosely based on Irish mythology*, and is all around a grand time. I'm not an oldhead, I've been casually playing for the past 3 years, but it's one of the few MMOs nowadays that actually has me coming back, so it's doing something right.

I won't sit here and explain everything about the game, though. That's not what I'm here for! I'm here to tell you what I did today in it! (❁´◡`❁)

I logged on for the first time since.. July or early August? Got sad that I missed the Over the Rainbow event, checked out the You're Un-Fergh-ettable! event and got myself a cool little 'Ferg'seus scythe,

(i'm planning on testing out the other weapons for this event, but i just really like battle astrology right now.)

and ventured off. 

salameander joined me - that's who you'll see in the other screenshots - and we went off to do something I fucking love doing in Mabinogi - commerce.

After an hour and a half of going from Tara to Emain Macha to Bangor to Port Ceann to traversing the entirety of Longa Desert and finally arriving at Filia to sell my merchandise.. we went to go chop firewood for the Campires for All! event.

Mabinogi is amazing for allowing you to train skills like Carpentry as well as your usual Magic or Fighting skills. However, this does mean you can end up spending a lot of time doing something menial like chopping wood. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is really funny.

I lost a couple of screenshots I was going to add to this section, including one of Karma (my avatar) absolutely shredding at Harvest Song while using it to buff my friend, but please imagine it in your mind. Okay? Thank you. Moving on,
After delivering that quest, we took a little break to make food - we sat around in Tir Chonaill for a little bit and let our avatars dance around while we were AFK -

- and then decided we wanted to take on Barri Dungeon Advanced before heading to bed. It, genuinely, was a breeze.
